Goody's Family Clothing has a strong commitment to achieving business success. But there is another, less visible facet of our business: We give back to the communities we serve with equal enthusiasm because we appreciate our Company’s good fortune, and because we care. We contribute as a company, as individual stores, and as individual associates-donations of time, energy and funding.

Our customers are our families and we recognize the effort that goes into keeping families together-keeping them strong, healthy and happy. We know because we face the same challenges in our own families. But there are too many children without the things they must have to grow successfully. That’s why long ago, we made children the focus of Goody’s philanthropic efforts. Our contributions are directed to organizations whose primary missions are to aid sick, abused and disadvantaged children-hospitals that treat sick children, facilities that counsel and provide refuge, and programs that counsel at-risk children and their families. We hold dear the idea that all children deserve a chance to shine and we want to make a difference.

Children's Miracle Network
Goody’s stores and Goody’s Corporate Office together raise more than $1 million for Children’s Miracle Network each year. Since Goody’s became a corporate sponsor of Children's Miracle Network in 1996, Goody’s has raised over $11 million to benefit children’s hospitals. In 2007 alone, Goody’s associates raised over $1.3 million through in-store fundraising and associate payroll giving.
